The Tables Have Been Flipped!

We had the absolute privilege to be a part of Robert Gray Elementary School’s professional development meeting. Principal Dr. Franklin explained to staff that students are tasked everyday to learn and grow but not every student learns the same way. Educators prepare extensive lesson plans everyday that begin by building background knowledge, introducing vocabulary, modifying plans for the individual needs of students, showing visual support, providing feedback, and learning by doing.

WOW!! That’s A LOT of work that educators do on a daily basis for the benefit of their students. Loaves of Fun was able to flip the tables and demonstrate all of these same learning standards to the staff and teachers while having fun and making yummy bread! Teachers were able to experience first hand how it feels to be presented with a new task and follow directions and most importantly work together to reach a common goal! We are excited about the opportunity to work with Robert Gray Elementary School again in the future.
